I started a new channel for the ASMR Colouring that I plan on doing, so that it doesn’t deviate the main channel too much. I’ll still be doing some game based ASMR videos on the main channel, but this was just that little bit too far from gaming. It’s a short tester video where I’m colouring an adult colouring book called Enchanted Forest, by Johanna Basford.

If you’re wanting to get into the adult colouring, I highly recommend the Enchanted Forest as a “gateway”. It’s got simple and intricate designs and doesn’t have the same “doodle yourself” that her first book Secret Garden does. I’ve really been enjoying it! The pencils I’m using are cheap ones from the supermarket. Just colouring one over the other and then going over the both again with the green. It’s created so much depth to the picture than I could have done with light / dark by pressing harder. It’s really easy. I haven’t been worried about light source or anything fancy, just darker colour at the base, another lighter shade towards the top and then the main colour over the top.
