If you’ve been following Paralives development as long as I have, you know that every little update from the team is exciting. The Paradevs recently shared a video across their social media giving fans a glimpse at what some of the team members are currently working on, and honestly it’s got me even more excited for what’s coming. The Town is Growing
Lea, one of the artists on the team, gave us a peek at her screen and it showed what looks like a graveyard. No further details were given but it’s a promising sign that the world of Paralives is continuing to take shape. A graveyard adds so much atmospheric potential to a life sim and I’m very here for it.
New Clothing on the Way
Sonia, another artist on the team, briefly showed a jacket she appeared to be working on and made a reference to a major update. No specifics were dropped but the implication that new clothing is tied to something bigger has my attention. Paralives has always put a lot of love into its customisation options and it sounds like that’s continuing.
New Music Including a Sneak Peek
Andrei, the musician behind Paralives’ soundtrack, was also featured and shared that he’s working on new music for the game. He even included a sneak peek in the video which is such a lovely touch. The Paralives soundtrack has always had a warm, cosy feel to it and I’m excited to hear where it goes next.
Keeping Everything Running
Charlotte from the QA team also appeared, representing the behind the scenes work that keeps everything ticking. It’s always nice to see the full team acknowledged, not just the more visible creative roles. QA is one of those jobs that only gets noticed when something goes wrong, so a shoutout to Charlotte for the work that goes into making sure it doesn’t.
