A small but tidy update dropped for Paralives. The team describes it as continuing the bug fix trend of 0.1.8 while they focus on the bigger features coming in their major update.
The headline addition is an upgrade to Unity 6, which should bring up to a 15% framerate improvement for most players. Alongside that, students can now attend extracurricular classes to boost grades, mods now have a filter and search bar, and moving a partner in properly triggers a household merge menu so you can bring over their people and their money.
A few quality of life additions round it out, including editing hair colours directly on thumbnails in the Paramaker, deceased Paras now appearing greyed out in your relationship tab, and more frequent homework assignments for those chasing top grades.
The bug fix list is solid. Highlights include babies no longer being born into the wrong household, dead characters no longer showing up as potential crushes in story cards, and a fix for the crib interaction that was locking Paras in place.
The team notes they are still working on some ongoing known issues including mods going missing, save file corruption, Paras refusing to stay dead, and babies teleporting into the ocean. Genuinely cannot wait for that last one to be sorted.
Full patch notes are available on the Paralives website.
